The Level II Basic Training Review Working Group was created to assist the Council in analyzing the issues raised by the IADLEST Report and the TAC Report including deficiencies in training, liability for agencies and the academy, short-term and long-term solutions that provide defensible training while meeting the staffing needs of law enforcement agencies. This group will provide recommendations to the Council.
The working group will consist of the following members: •

- Chief Loretta Stalnaker, Vermont Chiefs Association

- Chief Jason Covey, Middlebury Police Dept.
- Chief Anthony Cambridge,
- Robert Schell, Director of Security, Vermont Judiciary
- Det. Tom Chenette, Vermont Police Association
The Working Group shall select its Chair and Vice-Chair at its first meeting and set a recurring meeting
